The University of Hong Kong Eye Institute
The Eye Institute has recently been established to promote the teaching and research of Ophthalmology in The University of Hong Kong. It is built upon an established track record of research into neurobiology and on-going productive international collaboration. The Eye Institute is responsible for the teaching of Ophthalmology to undergraduate medical students in The University of Hong Kong. We have been recruiting MPhil and PhD students since 2007. We are also seeking enthusiastic, self motivated and committed individuals to join us in translational research that will ultimately benefit patients.
Location
The Eye Institute is located in the newly established Cyberport where state-of-the-art telemedicine facilities are housed.

Our laboratories are housed in a suite of laboratories in the Jockey Club Clinical Research Centre in Sassoon Road.
The Eye Clinic at the Queen Mary Hospital sees about 50,000 outpatients per year. |
